The Travelling Juice Cleanse

In the beginning our choices were "exactly" the healthiest. It was thin crust pizza in Greenwich Village at least!

In July we were in NYC for almost 2wks for a convention, my daughter Chy and I found a juice cart outside our hotel in NY, not organic but better than nothing and cleanliness was questionable but it was great to have something healthy.

We were so busy with the conference that we barely had time to eat some days so we had to just see what was outside the hotel. Hot dogs and gyros were everywhere but at least we drank fresh juices and logged in about 15,000 steps a day!

In August we travelled to the lower mainland of Vancouver and today we started our end of summer cleanse! Cheers to our first juice "Activate" on our hotel patio and Chyanne's first ever cleanse!  We can do this!

From travelling back and forth to British Columbia to New York and back to British Columbia, my girls and I have been in airplanes, hotels, cars, campers and more hotels since mid July and are still travelling! ​ Some people would think tackling a juice cleanse while travelling isn't the best idea but as in all aspects of life you need to trust your intuition and do what you feel is best for your body.  Chyanne and I decided that in these final three days of her portion of the trip our days allowed for us to concentrate on a 3 day cleanse.  We have access to the pools, hot tub and a great gym right downstairs so we figured with our toned down schedule (well its less busy then work/school) we can do it!  Some great tips are:
  • find a buddy to cleanse with, the support helps
  • get your lymph moving with dry brushing, exercising, massages
  • walk, go to a sauna, sweat out the toxins!
If you are interested in doing a cleanse then start wrapping your mind around a FALL cleanse, you won't be sorry you did it!  Remember you can do anything for 3 days!
